Photoshoot & Party Details
Our backyard photoshoot
Dad jumping around to keep the smiles and a very mobile baby out of the tall grass. Mom on the ground steadily capturing and commanding each shot. Little one having the time of her life eating cake as her entree while attempting to eat the grass & flowers as her side items.
With all that said, I am in love with the outcome.
It took me some time to find comfortable wings that fit my now, I cannot believe it, one year old. Fair warning she loves the wand and knights mommy frequently with it. You may too become worthy of the agressive but loving knighting ritual. I have linked the wings and some other items down below if brave enough.

The Party
Still unpacking moving boxes weeks before her birthday party, you can imagine the scrambling that followed. Somehow we managed to pull off a happy one year old and entertain several kiddos and adults. Pictures are few but I have linked the websites and goodies that helped us throw a wonderful first birthday. Both the temporary tattoos and surprise balls were a big hit for the little ones.
And in case you are throwing a butterfly extravaganza like ourselves you may be inclined to purchase butterfly earings to feel just as festive as the party. Here are the ones I wore.

My husband and I shared what little was left of the wine after the party. With our birthday girl sound asleep we sat, sipped and recalled the eventful day, pure bliss. Under our feet lied our unforgotton babies. Partied out.
